Brother Lee on Chinese speaking meeting

First, in Book 7, The Elder's Training, One Accord for the Lord's Move, p.18-19 Brother Lee said, "The one accord is the master key to all the rooms.The master key to every blessing in the New Testament". We must use this master key in order to open all the blessings promised in the New Testament.Then, regarding the Chinese speaking work specifically, in Book 4, "OtherCrucial Matters Concerning The Practice of the Lord's Recovery" brother Leesaid, on page 117, Chapter Ten on "Chinese-Speaking Work, "Since 1983[twenty years after brother Lee began the work of the ministry in the United States in 1962], we have felt led of the Lord to take care of the Chinese speaking work in the Unites States and in Canada.....". On page 118 brotherLee went on to say, "Then in 1980 a Chinese speaking meeting was begun in Anaheim. [It has been on going until today and the whole church in Anaheim,including all languages, English, Spanish, etc. is flourishing as onechurch] In 1983 I began to feel led of the Lord that we should not miss the chance to work on these Chinese students on their campuses and also on the Chinese community."  The rest of the Chapter lays out the entire details of the Chinese speaking work. For example, on page 121, brother Lee said, "We must realize that we are not setting up Chinese churches. These Chinese-speaking meetings are still under the one eldership. This is absolutely a part of the local churchand not an independent church. In some places the saints may feel awkward concerning this. They may feel that this would begin to make the church intheir locality Chinese.....the elders should do their best to make this situation understandable to the saints. This is entirely for the Lord'sinterest. All the saints can testify that the Chinese speaking saints have really been a strengthening to the local churches...."Concerning the practice of Chinese-speaking meetings, on page 122, brother Lee said, "When we use the term "Chinese-speaking meeting", we stress theword "speaking". We do not consider that it is a Chinese meeting, which is based upon the race. this meeting is based upon the language. We have made it clear that anyone who can manage the English language for the purpose ofthe meeting must go to the English-speaking meeting. the Chinese speakingmeeting does not depend upon race but upon your language. If you can manage the Chinese language , he is free to come to the Chinese-speaking meeting."

What to do if not agree to have a Lord's day Chinese speaking meeting

Paul in book of Romans 14, if a brother insisted to eat meat, you eat meat with him to gain him, not to stumble him.

Paul in first Corinthians 9, to weak he became weak so he can gain the weak,... etc.

You need to offer same care to make saints happy.

Saints will be on same materials, better understanding of ministry in their own language. Ministry keeps the one accord.

Also the framework of district meetings will include many meetings for increase. Some churches already practice Lord's Table at homes. Still one church. In Acts Jerusalem has one church many meetings.

Why need Chinese speaking Lord's day district

1. God's sovereignty, answer of prayers. We have 50 Chinese speaking saints on the list. We cannot afford to lose professors.
2. We will loose, since divided group may know, many Chinese group locally. Senior have 8 now, we just lost one couple.
3. Financial impact is huge.
4. More functioning members, too big a group for Lord's day, who is going to speak. If they cannot function, they will lose interest.
5. Simon can an be there.
6. Use facility used to use across hall.
7. Some churches already practice different languages.

I personally labor on Monday with Ed Galaska, praying for the family salvation, Wednesday lunch with Mark lupo,  Saturday morning 8 Am, morning revival with English speaking, Thursday lunch time prayer for Tony Pfeiffer son with Mark Veal. Also my house on campus, 4 brothers are all not Chinese. One from Ukraine just moved in. He is a very important seed for Ukrainian, gained by Korean brothers in NJ. You see I am not just work with Chinese speaking.

8+ new contacts after prayer to add people

I asked God to send people to our meetings. Goal for this year is 50 in meetings, 4 homes open to care for 12 people each. Yang called me out of no where and came to Lord's day meeting, two people. (2) Yuan family introduced by Andy (called me, and I have not seen him for quite a while), four came to Friday. (4) One brother called me and come for two Fridays. (1) One sister has not been meeting called me and asked for help, then she intended to come on Lord's day not making it. (1) One friend came on Friday prayed, but dropped to come. I took my wife to learn English, met one couple. (2) Above 10 people. If I continue to pray for them. That's 10 added.
